DESCRIPTION OF GRINDER OPERATION-
1. The machine consists of a horizontal grinding mill in a shell shape with two grinding blades which grind on a horizontal plane. They consist of one fixed blade and one blade which are driven by the main motor via belt pulleys. Both grinding blades are tapered to the outside & have a hole in the centre for the granules being ground to enter the grinding area.
2. Materials to be ground are added to the cutting chamber via a hole at the top of the mill and are fed by the vibrator feeder. The speed of feeding the granules is controlled by the vibrator feeder which has a sensor on the motor current draw and also a pneumatic sensor.
3. The material is forced by centrifugal force to the outside of the blades, it is ground down in to size to become a powder. It is drawn out of the grinding chamber by vacuum via the conveyor tube which is the large tube going from the grinder to the separator hopper. This vacuum is powered by the blower mounted on the screen frame.
4. The ground powder is then fed via the separator feeder into the screen area where five screens separate the powder into the size required. Any powder not fine enough is automatically transferred back to the grinder for additional grinding.
