The Australia-New Zealand Plastics Industry Awards are an annual awards program honoring and recognizing companies involved in the Australian and New Zealand Plastics Industry for business excellence, product innovation, design and marketing and commercial success.
The Awards are open to manufacturers and marketers of polymers, plastics additives and colorants and products using plastics made or designed in Australia and New Zealand and marketed domestically or internationally.
The Awards recognize initiatives that have demonstrated outstanding real and sustained business growth through innovation, creative business solutions, and sustained productivity and profit improvement.
These initiatives could include new business development, technology and design break through, new market and export development, unique use of technology in management and software use, innovative marketing strategies, improved supply chain capabilities and manufacturing excellence.
It is open to Australian and New Zealand companies who are designers or manufacturers or marketers of equipment, software or other technology used in the plastics industry that can be manufactured off-shore and sold in Australia, New Zealand or internationally.
These Awards are available to companies or organizations of any size registered in Australia or New Zealand as at June 30, 2012

Criteria
The judges will consider all nominations containing any percentage of the activity for the category within Australia & New Zealand. Judging will, however, be weighted in favour of a higher percentage of activity within Australia & New Zealand.
Judging
All nominations will be forwarded to the judging panel
The 7 person Judging panel will be made up of a representative from each of the Awards Sponsors plus PlastixANZ representative as moderator.
