K Fair 2010 -- About 3,000 exhibitors in 19 halls
The international plastics and rubber industry is taking an optimistic and future-oriented view. Despite the challenging economic conditions, some 3,000 exhibitors will be making their appearance at the industry’s premium international trade fair.

Only 9 months to go: The K – the largest and most prestigious event on the plastics and rubber industry’s calendar – is the place to see the products that characterise today’s market and those that will shape the future. Improved standards or highend innovations – all the important new developments will be on show at the K. With about 3,000 exhibitors, including market leaders as well as specialty suppliers or spin-offs from universities, the K is the largest communication and business platform in the industry. In 19 halls, the latest developments will be presented according to the four main focal areas of the K:

• Machinery and equipment
• Raw materials, auxiliaries
• Semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastics
• Services.

Among this large, well-structured range of offerings, visitors will find the elements they need to continue operating successfully in their markets: innovative materials, new technologies, application-related solutions for different user industries. Precisely because the economic climate remains challenging, the exhibiting companies consider it more necessary than ever to provide a range of products and services that will help their customers to operate even more efficiently in terms of costs, productivity and resources. The Innovation Compass, which is being introduced for the first time at K 2010, helps to match up supply and demand perfectly.
